How to obtain customs duty relief?

EU Regulation 1186/2009 sets out the situations where customs duty exemption is available. One is the transfer of residence. When all requirements are met, you can obtain not only customs duty relief but also VAT exemption. For vehicles, ISV (vehicle tax) exemption is also possible.
