Privacy Policy.

G-CET — Customs Management Solutions ("G-CET", "we") respects the privacy of g-cet.pt visitors and is committed to protecting personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Portuguese Law 58/2019.

1. Data controller

2. Data collected

When you submit the contact form we collect: name, email, phone (optional), tax ID/company, subject and message. We additionally log IP address, browser user-agent and timestamp for security and spam prevention.

3. Purposes

We process your personal data to: (i) reply to your inquiry and provide the requested services; (ii) comply with legal and tax obligations inherent to the customs broker profession; (iii) send newsletters or commercial communications when you have given consent.

Processing relies on: pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for customs document retention) and consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for newsletter).

5. Retention

Contact data is kept for the time necessary to reply to your request and, if a business relationship is established, for the periods required by law (10 years for customs and tax documentation). Newsletter data is kept until you withdraw consent.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, object and withdraw consent. Exercise these by contacting us. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese DPA — CNPDwww.cnpd.pt.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies (session and CSRF security) that do not require consent. Analytics or marketing cookies — when used — are only enabled after your explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can manage preferences at any time.

8. Third parties

We do not sell or share your personal data for commercial purposes. We may share with: (i) the Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority and other public entities in strict compliance with customs legal obligations; (ii) technical service providers (hosting, email) under data processing agreements per Art. 28 GDPR.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures (TLS/HTTPS, access controls, encrypted backups, strong password policy) to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
